Katie at 30 Weeks.....

Well, we've got about 10 weeks to go! Getting larger by the day and more excited by the moment. Annie took some artsy shots of me this weekend in the backyard.

Tennessee 2008

Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
This is our hotel, the River Terrace Resort. Our balcony practically hung over the river! The town was gorgeous with the river, mountains and cute shops. Sadly, it's definitely on its way to over-the-top touristy though. We had a great time and went up the mountain on a tram, and then on a ski lift, which was really relaxing (once Ben got over being scared!)

The 120 person tram which took us to the top!

Ben and I on the ski lift - going even further up!

Nashville, Tennessee

We visited Nashville to see Sr. Mary Olivia's final vows. Here are Ben and TJ on the Motherhouse balcony, enjoying the views!

Ben makes new friends...

Katie and Aedan hang out on the streets of Nashville. We were hoping to see some famous country faces, but no face was as cute as Aedan's!

The famous Country Music Hall of Fame....with this handsome guy hanging out in front!

Smithsonian Folk Life Festival

We "visited" Bhutan (a little country located near India) without leaving Washingon, D.C. The National Mall was turned into the "Land of the Tiger" and there was great food, arts, crafts, and heat and humidity galore!
The paint - all made of natural products - such as leaves, berries, sand, etc.

A Bhutanese monk writing in calligraphy

The monk writing Danyelle's name...

Danyelle hard at work on her project.

Ben, working up a sweat (plus the 90 degree day didn't help!)

22 weeks (and growing!)

Here I am, finally starting to show a belly (rather than just getting bigger EVERYWHERE!), at 22 weeks (5 1/2 months)..... our latest sonogram shows that it is either a boy or girl :) and that the baby is laying with his/her feet straight up in the air. I'm slowly starting to feel some movement in there, which is really fun and exciting!
